What should I bring to my first cardiology appointment?
Please arrive 15 minutes early and bring a list of your current medications (including dosages), any recent lab results or medical records, your insurance card, and a government-issued photo ID. If you were referred by another provider, please bring their contact information as well.
Do I need a referral to see a cardiologist at your clinic?
Many insurance plans require a referral from a primary care physician to cover specialist visits. However, some plans allow you to book directly. We recommend contacting your insurance carrier to verify your specific benefits, or speaking with our scheduling team at (509) 555-4200.
What should I expect during an on-site exercise stress test?
An exercise stress test helps evaluate how well your heart handles work. You will walk on a treadmill while your heart rate, blood pressure, and EKG are continuously monitored. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and loose-fitting clothing, and avoid heavy meals or caffeine for 3 hours before your test.
How can I request prescription refills?
For urgent medical issues or severe chest pain, please call 911 immediately. For routine prescription refills, please contact your pharmacy directly. They will submit an electronic refill request to our clinic, which we typically process within 24 to 48 business hours.
